What are single vision lenses?

Single vision lenses give optical correction for a single type of vision.

  • Close vision: within 30cm (reading & writing).
  • Intermediate: arms length (computer work).
  • Distance: beyond arms length (driving or watching TV).

What type of single vision lenses do I need?

On your prescription, you'll see a Sphere power box (SPH).

It'll state a plus (+) or minus (-) before the numbers inside that box.

  • Plus (+) means you need help with your close vision.
  • Minus (-) means you need help with your distance vision.

If you have a varifocal prescription, you can have single vision lenses for any of these three vision zones.

Do you fit single vision lenses?

Yes we do.

As a small team of just two makers, our shop is only open a handful of times throughout the year.

The prices for prescription lenses will be available with each release of frames.
